Okay, okay. That’s a totally lame title for this post, but I’d like to see you try and come up with something clever about a picture of yourself wearing a fake mustache.
(But not really. I’m sure y’all came come up with some really creative ideas that would show me up.)
Anyway, the reason I’ve posted this picture and gloriously cliché title is because I’ve been working on the assignments from Finish This Book. One of which was to cut out very pieces of a disguise and attach them to my face.
I never back down from a challenge.
Doing this, along with the few other things I’ve been tasked with, has been the most fun I’ve had in quite a while. I’ve felt more creative, relaxed and childlike. A welcome change from my everyday college work ethic.
What are some of the other things I’ve done, you might ask?
Well, I drew something I otherwise would never have attempted. (It was a faceless girl, in case you were wondering), I became a modern day ninja and I’ve decoded messages using a paper decoder.
I haven’t been able to do much past that yet, because I’ve been busy with the first week of classes and my first piles of homework. But I’m hoping that tomorrow might bring at least a few more pages of Finish This Book to completion.
Until next time, my friends.
